We have now been established for over 7 years.  In that time we have worked on a significant proportion of the bespoke new build dwellings in Bath and its surrounding areas.  We've designed these dwellings in timber frame, masonry, ICF and steel frame.

We've also provided the engineering to enable over 200 clients to improve or alter their existing homes.  Some of these alterations have been a simple attic conversion or extension.  Others have involved removing signicant elements of structure and adding large glazed frames or an extra storey of structure.  We've also advised on a few art installations!

We design using our excellent local knowledge, technical experience and willingness to analyse and research areas of engineering that we are less familiar with. This enables us to deliver a strong professional service to all our clients and to get involved with all materials that a client may wish to use.

Bath is a unique area in which to work because of all the challenges associated with its geology and buildings.  We are experienced in working in areas of landslip and with historic Georgian buildings.  As an area with hills and valleys we have designed many full or partial basements, designing in reinforced concrete or reinforced masonry.

Our membership of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors helps us with another challenge associated with Bath - the significant number of terraced houses with party walls.

We use Autocad and are able to work with the majority of CAD packages.  Our Professional Indemnity Insurance is provided by Griffiths and Armour.
